Friends/Clients: As many of you know, flood insurance premiums are sky rocketing. This happened to me on two small structures where the 2014 premiums rose to an amount in excess of $9,000. My surveyor mentioned getting a Letter of Map Amendment (a “LOMA”) from FEMA. I investigated the LOMA process and discovered that it is intimidating. I then sought professional assistance and located Flood Relief Specialists. For a small fee, FRS examined my situation, and determined that my buildings, at the very least, were a good candidate for lower premium once accuracy was placed. Within approximately 4 weeks, I received my LOMA. The result of the LOMA is that Fannie Mae has eliminated my insurance requirement, and I will receive a refund of most if not all of my 2014 premium payments. Since my buildings are close to a creek, I have elected to voluntarily maintain flood insurance, at a cost of $643 rather than $9K plus. FRS did everything that it promised to do, and did so in a timely manner. I am a satisfied customer and I am recommending FRS to you if you have flood insurance issues. For a small fee, FRS examined my situation, and determined that my buildings were a good candidate for lower premium once accuracy was placed.

After two years of frustration from trying to handle this Flood situation alone and not getting anywhere, I felt like I was up against a brick wall. Shortly after receiving a notice from my Insurance Company that my Flood Insurance had once again increased by another $100.00/yr., I received a letter from Flood Relief Specialists. I was very skeptical getting a solicitation letter in the mail and had fears of being scammed. After talking to Lexi on the phone, she laid all my fears to rest. We had become used to dealing with a substantial raise in our Flood Premium Rate every year, even though we had never come close to having a flood in our locale.
